About

RAFPay is a division of Taurus Capital, the specialist lenders to the South African legal industry. Taurus Capital has vast experience in the personal injury legal sector and the affiliated Road Accident Fund processes and inherent challenges for both attorneys and RAF claimants.

Visit Taurus Capital

At Taurus Capital and RAFPay, we understand how difficult it can be to recover after a motor vehicle accident – both physically, emotionally, and financially. The stress of lost income and medical bills place huge pressure on an accident victim and the family. This is worsened by not knowing when the RAF will pay you the funds promised, with court orders often taking between 6 and 12 months until they are paid.

What we offer

Many RAF finance companies will offer you a loan against your RAF court order. The interest payments and monthly fees on these loans can be incredibly high, and erode much needed future funds.

At RAFPAY we don’t offer loans and we therefore don’t charge interest.

We pay you up to 95% of the full amount owed to you under the RAF court order (after your attorney’s costs have been deducted). The price paid is dependent upon the payment structure that suits your needs best.

We convert your court order into an upfront payment, allowing you to walk away with required funds based on your personal requirements
